I bought the car in August 2023 as a retirement project from Helen who’d owned the car since 1974, she bought it for the princely sum of £895 !
The chassis had some corrosion, so the body was removed and both outriggers were replaced, chassis was shot blasted, pure aluminium spray applied followed by a 3 coat epoxy coating system by Baw Coatings who specialise in offshore protection - should be good for a few years now. A full rebuild was undertaken including a new re bored 711M Crossflow block, with a single Weber carburettor, giving 100bhp. The car was re sprayed. The interior was also re trimmed.Current Owner:
